STAY: SHABBY-CHIC & BUB-FRIENDLY

Umah di Desa I

Batubelig

If you can afford to splurge and love "shabby chic & stylish", Umah Di Desa I in Batubelig looks perfect for families with bubs & toddlers, as well as preschool & school kids. This pad is a secure 3-bedroom & 2 bathroom lux family pad that will comfortably fit 6 people. It comes with pool fence (if you request it), a cot, toys, car seat, high chairs, a video monitor, bunk beds, a sunken trampoline, and more.

Not, a budget option.. but Umah Di Desa certainly looks decadent, cosy and super stylish. It’s managed by a family with a gang of kids, who seem super friendly, and helpful in my emails with them.

It's one of 4 divine Umah Di Desa Villas that I have been eyeing for ages. The pool looks inviting (and can be fenced) and the sunken trampoline would be a hit with my boys. There are interconnecting rooms which is good if you are travelling with little kids. They can also provide a Baby Bjorn carrier, microwave and can recommend babysitters that they trust and use for their own kids.

There aren't many Trip Advisor reviews I can find for this villa, so it would be great to get some feedback if you have stayed here.

From approx US $350 - $450 per night plus 10% tax and 5% service etc. (Rates taken from site at the time of writing the review, things change, so please check directly with the owners regarding prices)

SNAPSHOT AND WISHLIST REVIEW. MY snapshot series, is just that, a brief bit about places that look great and family-friendly. I haven't stayed here (but it's on my WISHLIST). I have been in contact with the owners and read the reviews. Please let me know if I have made any errors or if you have any insights into this villa (the good and the not so good), as I want the information on Growing up Troppo to be as accurate as possible, and importantly useful for parents wanting to know the ins and outs about how kid-friendly a place is.
